COURSE ABSTRACT The educational component "EUFIN: financial innovations in the European space" belongs to the list of optional educational disciplines offered as part of the professional training cycle of the second (master's) level applicants of higher education in the fields of knowledge 05 Social and behavioral sciences, 07 Management and administration and 29 International relations at the first year of study. It provides general and professional development of the applicant and is aimed at obtaining in-depth knowledge about the functioning of financial innovations and their impact on unemployment in the financial sector, sustainability of economic, social and political development with the use of creative and innovative approaches. The course was developed within the framework of the international project ERASMUS+ Jean Monnet actions in the field of higher education "EU Market of Financial Innovations and Unemployment in Financial Sector". PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES OF THE EDUCATIONAL DISCIPLINE The goal of the discipline is the formation and deepening of competencies regarding the analysis and assessment of the impact of financial innovations, blockchain technologies and crypto-currencies on the sustainable development of the markets of Ukraine and the EU in economic, political and social aspects. The main tasks of studying the discipline "EUFIN: financial innovations in the European space" are: - analyze and evaluate the impact of financial innovations on the sustainable development of Ukrainian and EU markets in economic, political and social aspects; - to investigate the impact of blockchain technologies on the sustainable development of Ukrainian and EU markets in economic, political and social aspects; - аналізувати та оцінювати ризики та перспективи використання крипто-активів на сталий розвиток ринків України та ЄС в економічному, політичному та соціальному аспектах; - assess the impact of behavioral aspects on the creation, development and use of financial innovations on the sustainable development of financial markets and the labor market; - apply step-by-step algorithms for transforming ideas into business projects in the context of implementing and using financial innovations.
LEARNING OUTCOMES According to the work program of the study discipline, the following learning outcomes are attributed to the discipline "EUFIN: financial innovations in the European space": 1) To be able to analyze and evaluate the impact of financial innovations on the sustainable development of Ukrainian and EU markets in economic, political and social aspects. 2) Be able to investigate the impact of blockchain technologies on the sustainable development of Ukrainian and EU markets in economic, political and social aspects; 3) To be able to analyze and evaluate the risks and prospects of using crypto-assets for the sustainable development of the markets of Ukraine and the EU in economic, political and social aspects; 4) Be able to assess the impact of behavioral aspects on the creation, development and use of financial innovations on the sustainable development of financial markets and the labor market; 5) Be able to apply step-by-step algorithms for transforming ideas into business projects in the context of implementing and using financial innovations.
